Radar Systems Engineering within Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a candidate to support the design, integration, and test verification of high-performance radar systems. The successful candidate will have strong analytic and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
You will apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts to develop revolutionary radar solutions. This role involves performing functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into radar system software specifications. You will develop models and detailed simulations to assess system performance and conduct system verification to support certification activities.
In this position, you will represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, government lab partners, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters. You will also provide Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline assistance, tooling expertise, and direction, while automating repeatable tasks through scripting languages. Additionally, you will mentor early career engineers in the systems engineering activities required to deliver products to stakeholders and customers alike.
