About the Role
Radar Systems Engineering within Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a candidate to support the design, integration, and test verification of high-performance radar systems. The successful candidate will have strong analytic and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
In this role, you will apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts to develop revolutionary radar solutions. You will perform functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into Radar system software specifications. You will also develop models and detailed simulations to assess system performance and conduct system verification while supporting certification activities.
You will represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, government lab partners, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters. Additionally, you will provide Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline assistance and tooling expertise, automate repeatable tasks through scripting languages, and mentor early career engineers in the systems engineering activities required to deliver products to stakeholders and customers alike.
