At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today's mission and stay ahead of tomorrow's threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.
The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) team integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and ensure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work closely with our customers.
You will join a mission-critical environment where you lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration and mission readiness. This role is designed for those who thrive on solving complex engineering challenges, collaborating across functions to drive performance improvements, and ensuring system reliability. Your day will involve designing and implementing test plans for both simulated and operational environments, executing system-level testing, and analyzing results to validate performance. You will identify and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues through detailed data analysis, while conducting trade studies to support technical decision-making. This position requires active engagement with stakeholders, presenting technical findings to internal leadership and external customers, and traveling to RTX facilities, test sites, vendor locations, and customer environments to support mission execution.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted, though business necessity may alter this timeline.
