At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.
The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) team integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and ensure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work closely with our customers.
This position is based in Tucson, AZ, and requires an onsite presence. You will be part of a mission-critical environment where you lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration and mission readiness. The role involves collaborating across functions to drive performance improvements and ensure system reliability.
In this role, you will design and implement test plans and verification documentation for both simulated and operational environments. You will execute system-level testing, analyze results to validate performance, and identify and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues through detailed data analysis. A key part of your day will involve conducting trade studies, presenting findings to stakeholders, and communicating results to leadership. You will also travel to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor locations, and customer environments.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote.
