About the Role

This position serves as the expert technical leader for the cybersecurity team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a robust, compliant enterprise-wide security architecture. The role goes beyond standard engineering; it involves providing high-level oversight to safeguard information systems and regulate access to computer data files. You will act as the top-tier subject matter expert for the Palo Alto Networks ecosystem, ensuring the implementation of Zero Trust principles across the entire network.

In this capacity, you will architect secure remote access solutions, define wireless infrastructure policies, and lead the design of the enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system. A significant portion of the role involves driving regulatory compliance, specifically adhering to Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) mandates. You will also lead the Incident Response lifecycle, guiding the team through preparation, detection, containment, and recovery phases while conducting post-incident reviews to define long-term security enhancements.
