About the Role

As a Senior Project Scheduler, you will be the strategic partner in defining and maintaining the timeline for complex construction and commissioning activities. This role exists to ensure project milestones are met by developing accurate baseline schedules, analyzing progress, and identifying schedule risks before they become critical issues. You will work directly with project teams to plan construction, startup, and commissioning activities, utilizing Primavera to ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry best practices.

In this position, you will not only manage the data but also provide the narrative behind the numbers. You will review project changes for schedule impacts, prepare monthly reports for management, and offer guidance to software users. Your day-to-day involves inspecting project sites to monitor progress, analyzing topographical data, and estimating durations to determine project feasibility. You will play a key role in preparing pursuit schedules and developing risk management strategies to keep projects on track.

Requirements

Nice to Have

Project planning experience. Water/wastewater treatment plant experience. Working knowledge of other scheduling software (MS Project, NetPoint, etc.). Earned Value Management experience on self-perform projects. Experience with schedule analytic software (SmartPM, Acumen Fuse, etc.). Experience with 4D/BIM software. Experience with Lean Construction or Last Planner System. Professional Scheduler Certification from PMI (PMI-SP) or AACE (PSP).
