As a Senior SCADA Engineer, you will serve as the technical authority for SCADA architecture, integrations, grid support telemetry, and real-time operations systems. This role combines deep engineering expertise with system ownership and team leadership. You will be responsible for designing scalable SCADA architecture that enables rapid fleet growth while proactively improving system reliability to reduce downtime and operational risk.
In this position, you will lead the design, implementation, integration, and administration of our VTSCADA and real-time operational systems supporting distributed energy assets. You will partner with cross-functional teams to enhance data flow, system performance, and operational visibility, serving as the escalation authority for technical design and priorities. Your work will directly support our 24x7 Microgrid Control Center and ensure secure, reliable data flow across field devices, SCADA platforms, and external entities like ERCOT.
