Sr. Project Manager, IT

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager, IT to maintain and evolve their information technology strategies. In this position, you will manage staff and research technological solutions to drive organizational effectiveness. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle for multiple initiatives, guiding them from initial definition through successful implementation.

This role serves as a bridge between technical execution and strategic business goals. You will direct technological research by analyzing organizational objectives and user needs, while coordinating resources and timetables with various user departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule. Your work will involve verifying application results through system audits and preserving critical assets by implementing robust disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security structures.

Beyond project execution, you will recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organizational outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating future requirements. You will also play a key role in financial management by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances to initiate corrective actions.
