About the Role
We are looking for you to join our team as a Sr Principal Cyber Systems Engineer based out of San Diego, CA. As a Sr Principal Cyber Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. Hiring Process & Application

- check_circlePerform hands-on system installation and integration activities including staging, installing, and transporting equipment
- check_circleCollaborate with Integrated Product Teams to develop system knowledge and improve deployment processes
- check_circleConfigure and maintain secure Linux, Windows, and cloud computing operating systems with scans and hardening
- check_circleDevelop artifacts necessary to support system assessment and authorization processes
- check_circleSupport initial deployment, operations, and maintenance of complex airborne and terrestrial tactical communication systems
- check_circleMaintain certifications and training on current technologies and manage system upgrades related to supply issues
- check_circleCollect, audit, generate reports, and store log data for system review and accounting requirements
Requirements
- verifiedBachelors degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 8 years of experience, or 6 years with Masters, or 4 years with STEM PhD

- verifiedAbility to obtain and maintain SAP/SAR level clearance
- verifiedExperience with IPv4/IPv6 network design
- verifiedExperience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle

- verifiedExperience with enterprise server infrastructure racking, stacking, and cabling
Nice to Have
Ability to operate with considerable independence and self-identify/pursue long-term interests. Experience deploying, configuring, and managing Host Based Security System (HBSS) components, including McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and point products. Experience developing Ansible playbooks and roles to automate system configuration, application deployment, and security hardening. Experience administering VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi host configuration, vCenter management, and virtual machine deployment. Familiarity with NCDSMO Raise the Bar (RTB) and current CDS/MLS vendors that are certified. DoD 8570 Security certification such as Sec+, CASP, CISSP, or equivalent. Exposure to the Risk Management Framework and associated security controls. Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and VMWare configuration and troubleshooting. Active Top Secret clearance.
