About the Role
The Senior Mechanical Engineer serves as the technical authority for the design and development of complex E House structures, ensuring structural integrity, thermal performance, and manufacturability for switchgear and related support equipment. This position is critical for driving continuous improvement in design standards and product performance while navigating environmental and seismic requirements.
In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex design challenges, balancing structural trade-offs between strength, cost, and fabrication efficiency. You will mentor engineers, lead project teams, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. Success in this position means delivering robust, scalable designs that transition smoothly from concept to production while meeting rigorous operational and safety standards.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- verified7+ years of experience in mechanical design of E House systems, enclosure systems, or similar large fabricated structures
- verifiedProficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
- verifiedProfessional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
- verifiedMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Nice to Have
Professional Engineer (PE) license, Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, experience with complex, configurable, or custom-engineered products, background in manufacturing engineering or production support, experience supporting application engineering or sales functions.
