Guidehouse is a leading technology consulting firm dedicated to solving complex challenges for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DOD). Our Technology Consulting team operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring our government partners maintain robust security postures in an evolving threat landscape. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of excellence, diversity, and continuous improvement, where self-starters thrive in independent, high-impact environments.
We are seeking a Senior Information Security Consultant to lead our team of Assessors in conducting rigorous technical testing of security controls. In this 100% on-site role, you will leverage your deep understanding of IC/DOD Risk Management Frameworks (RMF), continuous monitoring, and risk scoring to drive program success. You will serve as a high-level assessor, guiding the RMF Team through the full lifecycle of security control assessments—from kickoff and execution to final reporting and executive briefings.
This position is designed for a self-starter who can quickly grasp a customer's mission and impact managerial practices. You will work closely with senior client members to align program direction and strategy while mentoring junior Security Control Assessors. Your day-to-day will involve identifying opportunities for automation and optimization, conducting audits to ensure controls are operating effectively, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of our assessment methodologies.
