The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) organization is a global team of experts dedicated to helping customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work collaboratively with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a diverse collection of offerings that help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption, supported by global specialty practices covering a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

The ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT) is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager to lead our delivery practice. This role is central to our mission of serving as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams, leveraging deep IT and management consulting backgrounds to drive transformative projects.

About the Role

As a Delivery Practice Manager (DPM), you will build and manage a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers. Your primary focus is to understand and define business outcomes for customers by building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and creating proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs). You will routinely engage with Directors, C-level executives, and governing boards to drive opportunity capture and ensure the delivery of innovative solutions.

In this role, you will optimize team performance by implementing tailored people development plans, ensuring your teams are aligned to customer needs, and possess the necessary skills and capacity to address customer outcomes. Success in this position is measured by consistently delivering customer engagements on time and within budget while exceeding customer expectations. You will hold the practice total utilization goal and be responsible for managing the practice P&L.

You will serve as a bridge between technical depth and business value, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for customers while maintaining technical credibility with delivery teams. By cultivating strong relationships with customers, Amazon Global Sales (AGS), and the ProServe team, you will drive business development initiatives through thought leadership and provide portfolio guidance and oversight.
