About the Opportunity
We have an immediate need for a Data Scientist to support a Federal Healthcare Insurance organization. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on identifying and solving complex business problems using numerical techniques, algorithms, and models in statistical modeling, machine learning, AI, operations research, and data mining.
As a Data Scientist on our team, you will own high-impact projects from inception to completion. Whether you are developing new modeling techniques to improve predictions, creating analyses to highlight pipeline weaknesses, or building tools to enhance team workflows, you will be expected to lead large-scale initiatives. You will act as a vital liaison between analytics, business units, and other departments, communicating across product teams and educating stakeholders on artificial intelligence and statistical models.
Location & Work Model
This is a remote opportunity with onsite requests 1–2 times per month in the DC Metro area. We are specifically seeking candidates who currently reside in the DC, MD, or VA area (or touching states). Please note: The client is not accepting candidates located out of town who are not willing to relocate, and candidates must already reside in the Washington DC region.
