The Client is seeking a Senior Application Systems Analyst and Designer to drive critical implementation efforts for the NCFAST Food Nutrition Services (FNS/SNAP) programs. This position focuses on delivering solutions for HR1 compliance and reducing payment error rates through proactive quality control measures.
In this role, you will serve as a bridge between business needs and technical execution. You will collaborate closely with the NCFAST business team, application development groups, and division and county stakeholders to gather requirements, design application components, and oversee testing. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of federal program delivery.
Your day will involve gathering and evaluating user requirements alongside product owners and engineers. You will translate these needs into tangible design ideas using Proof of Concepts (POCs) and develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate site functionality and aesthetics. This includes designing graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets, as well as building navigation buttons and search fields.
You will prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine layouts. Additionally, you will assist in creating user stories and developing test scenarios to ensure the final application meets business requirements.
