You will join the CNO's Custom Media Operations (CMO) team, winners of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board Killian Award for outstanding mission support. CMO is leading the charge on media capabilities within the Intelligence Community (IC).
As a Software Engineer on this small, high-impact team, you will manage products through their entire lifecycle, from initial ideation to full production, taking full ownership of their success. You will support full-stack web development efforts that connect CMO's capabilities with their customers, offering hands-on experience developing solutions within a state-of-the-art AI/ML landscape.
Your day will involve collaborating with business leaders and AI/ML engineers to build robust technical solutions for complex operational challenges. You will rapidly prototype cutting-edge capabilities, conduct direct user research to solve real-world pain points, and optimize system usability to reduce mission operation friction. Experience with Java/Spring Boot and Python/Flask. AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer or general experience with managing software infrastructure in AWS. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer or general experience with managing an application running on Kubernetes. Experience with multimedia and 3D modeling tools such as Cinema4D, Blender, Unreal Engine, Gimp, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Basic literacy in AI and knowledge of ML process. Experience using code-assist tools such as OpenCode or Copilot.
