Sr Analyst - ISO Security Governance

About the Role

This position serves as a strategic partner in navigating the complex landscape of Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) security governance. You will act as a bridge between technical security requirements and business objectives, ensuring that organizational policies align with rigorous federal mandates. The role is critical for maintaining the security posture of systems supporting government clients, requiring a deep understanding of the regulatory environment to guide information system owners and enterprise stakeholders.

In this capacity, you will not only assess risks but also shape the doctrine and policies that govern them. Your work involves collaborating with Enterprise and project Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), Business Development teams, and Capture teams to ensure seamless alignment of governance with existing and prospective Federal and DoD customers. You will be instrumental in managing vendor assessments, enterprise risk registers, and security awareness training, translating complex federal language into actionable business terms.

The Work Environment

You will operate in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment where considerable judgment and initiative are required daily. Success in this role demands the ability to execute multiple complex tasks simultaneously, working effectively both as an independent contributor and as a collaborative team member. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, as you will frequently communicate with a broad range of staff and external contacts to develop solutions for complex security challenges.
