This position serves as a strategic partner in safeguarding Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) information systems. You will bridge the gap between complex security governance requirements and practical business implementation, ensuring that organizational policies align with rigorous federal standards. The role is critical for maintaining the security posture of shared services and supporting the Enterprise Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in navigating the evolving landscape of cybersecurity regulations.
In this capacity, you will not only analyze risk but also translate technical security mandates into understandable business terms for stakeholders. Your work will directly influence the development of doctrine, policies, and governance activities that protect sensitive data across the enterprise. From vendor assessments to annual risk registers, you will play a pivotal role in managing the lifecycle of security compliance for our federal clients.
At Maximus, we are dedicated to delivering high-impact solutions that support government missions. Our team operates in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment where precision and initiative are paramount. We value collaboration across a broad range of staff, requiring you to network effectively with key contacts outside your immediate area of expertise. Success in this role depends on your ability to exercise sound judgment while developing solutions to complex, multifaceted problems.
Candidates are encouraged to review the additional information section of the job requisition to confirm clearance eligibility requirements prior to applying. The selection process involves a thorough evaluation of professional experience and qualifications relevant to security governance and federal compliance.
