Within the Corporate Accounting and Controllership function, this role serves as a critical bridge between operational accounting, shared services, Business Controllers, FP&A, Tax, Payroll, and Corporate Reporting teams. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleExecute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across assigned accounting areas
- check_circleEnsure journal entries, accruals, and topside adjustments are completed accurately and in compliance with IFRS
- check_circlePerform financial statement and variance analysis to identify material movements and accounting risks
- check_circleOwn balance sheet account integrity and oversee reconciliations to ensure audit-ready status
- check_circleServe as a technical accounting resource for non-routine transactions and complex accounting matters
- check_circleAct as a quality control partner for Record-to-Report activities performed by Shared Services teams
- check_circleSupport internal and external audit activities including preparation of schedules and walkthroughs
- check_circlePartner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent accounting treatment and policy application
- check_circleIdentify control gaps and process inefficiencies to support implementation of corrective actions
- check_circleSupport process improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and reporting efficiency
Requirements
- verified5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- verifiedExperience with SAP or similar ERP systems required
- verifiedAdvanced Excel and analytical skills required
- verifiedStrong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles
- verifiedCPA / CPA-track / CA / ACCA preferred
Nice to Have
CPA / CPA-track / CA / ACCA certification. Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation tools (e.g., SAP BPC, Blackline). Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or Power Automate.
