Speech Language Pathologist- York Outpatient Pediatric- Day/Evening

About the Role

This position serves as an entry to intermediate Speech-Language Pathologist within our outpatient pediatric rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders, applying therapeutic techniques grounded in established principles of speech therapy. The role is designed for a professional eager to grow while delivering direct, high-quality patient care.

You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to facilitate the achievement of patient goals. Your day-to-day involves conducting evaluations with a focus on receptive and expressive language, fluency, and articulation, while reporting progress to the broader team. Beyond direct patient care, you will provide therapeutic instructions to patients, supervise Rehab Aides as required by the PA practice act, and participate in training medical and nursing personnel on speech pathology techniques.

The schedule is full-time (74 hours biweekly), operating Monday through Friday with day and evening shifts. The role includes a weekend and holiday rotation, specifically requiring two weekday closing shifts until 7 PM and one Saturday shift from 8 AM to 12 PM in outpatient pediatric rehab. This schedule ensures comprehensive coverage for our pediatric population.

Hiring Process

Candidates must hold a Master's Degree from an accredited program in speech-language pathology and possess a current Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credential. Successful completion of the Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or status as a Strong Clinical Fellow is required upon hire, along with Basic Life Support certification. We look for candidates with less than one year of related experience who are ready to apply their foundational knowledge in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
