Life Care Centers of America operates as Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) dedicated to providing compassionate care for a diverse patient population. Our facilities support individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs through a collaborative, interdisciplinary team approach.
We offer both long-term care for residents requiring ongoing skilled support and short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. As a therapy professional here, you will work within a supportive, patient-centered environment to help patients achieve functional progress and improve their quality of life.
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct rehabilitation care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral. This role is central to our mission of delivering high-quality, compliant care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
You will serve as a liaison to patients, families, and support departments to adequately plan for patient needs, establishing and modifying realistic, measurable goals. The position requires functioning productively on an interdisciplinary team, utilizing therapy software, and maintaining professional relationships with all associates and vendors. Whether you are a certified SLP overseeing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) therapists or a CFY professional following treatment plans under supervision, you will play a vital role in our patient care continuum.
New graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email, and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. CPR certification is required upon hire or must be obtained during orientation.
