As a Speech Language Pathologist at PVH Speech Path, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care. This onsite role focuses on conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, voice, and related abilities. You will create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals, making a profound impact on those you serve.
Your day will involve providing extensive education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication or swallowing disorders, prognosis, and home practice strategies. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, audiologists, and teachers to ensure coordinated, holistic care. Additionally, you will model proficiency by precepting those new to imaging and/or UCHealth, contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
This position is a PRN role with a days shift schedule. Through UCHealth's Career Ladder, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills, responsibilities, and pay as you gain experience and expertise.
