The Cleburne Independent School District is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across our district-wide campuses. In this role, you will serve as a vital partner in ensuring every student has the communication skills necessary to succeed academically and socially.
You will plan and deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services, focusing on students with speech, voice, or language disorders. Your work will involve conducting independent evaluations to determine eligibility for services, developing clinical management strategies, and providing targeted individual and group therapy. By collaborating with teachers, parents, and the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee, you will help create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that drive student progress and remove barriers to learning.
Beyond direct therapy, you will play a key role in professional development, helping school personnel identify communication deficits and implement effective classroom strategies. You may also have the opportunity to supervise speech-language pathology assistants or aides, fostering a supportive environment for the next generation of clinicians.
This position requires regular in-person presence and district-wide travel to multiple work locations. The role involves moderate physical demands, including lifting and carrying, and may occasionally require assisting with the transfer or positioning of students with physical disabilities. Success in this role requires the ability to maintain emotional control under stress while managing a diverse caseload.
Cleburne Independent School District is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
