Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating, which is why customers from the most successful startups to Global 500 companies trust our robust suite of products and services to power their businesses.
The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. We work backwards from our customers' most complex and business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialists, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you will provide expertise across the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.
Within WWSO, this position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, where you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designing In-Memory architectures leveraging AWS services. You will work closely with the Database Services team, Business Development, and Sales to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption and revenue of AWS.
As an In-Memory DB Specialist Solutions Architect, you will work with the largest companies in the world to design flexible and cost-effective cloud-based solutions. You will craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address complex challenges, whether guiding customers as they refactor an application or designing entirely new cloud-based systems.
In this role, you will develop whitepapers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations to enable customers and partners to fully leverage AWS services. You will also create field enablement materials for the broader Solutions Architect population to help them understand how to integrate AWS caching services into customer architectures. As a trusted advisor and strategic leader with technical expertise in In-Memory/NoSQL database systems, you will share recommendations around security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate building key data solutions and applications on AWS for our customers.
You will represent the voice of the customer, bringing feedback to product teams to influence feature development and the future product roadmap. You will act as a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events like AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent.
