At L3Harris Technologies, you will play a critical role in safeguarding national security information and ensuring the resilience of our technology infrastructure. This position is designed to support the Air Force and our internal test teams by maintaining rigorous security controls across complex information systems. You will be the frontline defense, responsible for the development, deployment, and execution of defenses that protect against unauthorized use, infiltration, and data exfiltration.
Your day-to-day involves a dynamic blend of operational security and strategic risk management. You will assess and mitigate system security threats throughout the program life cycle, performing certification and accreditation planning in coordination with government customers. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to analyzing and administering security controls as part of the Continuous Monitoring Plan, ensuring that our systems remain compliant with strict federal directives.
The role demands adaptability and commitment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining aircraft disk pack sets, a vital task for supporting our test operations. Because of the critical nature of our security posture, you must be willing to travel 25% of the time to support offsite test events. Additionally, the role requires flexibility to frequently support nights and weekends to augment SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) manning during planned site power or network outages.
This position requires an active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance. Please note that security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens. Applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigations and must meet all eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
