Specialist, Building Controls

About the Role

This position serves as a vital link within the Building Performance and Controls team, dedicated to optimizing facility operations through strategic programming and data-driven decision-making. The role exists to ensure the safety of associates and customers while minimizing service costs by proactively diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions. You will be responsible for executing complex programming projects for building controls systems, adapting strategies to meet sustainability initiatives, and driving energy reductions through daylight harvesting and other innovations.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with managers, coworkers, and business partners to coordinate work assignments and prioritize tasks based on customer needs and business goals. Your day-to-day involves modeling and sharing expertise on how to adapt to change, providing feedback to ensure timelines and work quality are met, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will act as a subject matter expert, applying up-to-date knowledge to develop action plans and guiding others in the application of best practices.
