About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our award-winning team for the 2026-2027 School Year. This role is designed for those who thrive in a collaborative, dynamic educational environment and bring creativity, patience, and a solution-focused mindset to their work.
As a Special Education Teacher, you will lead the instructional process for students in Grades 6-12 who have Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). You will design dynamic, personalized learning experiences within our learning centers and classrooms, delivering targeted instruction that aligns with state and school standards. Your day-to-day involves creating comprehensive lesson plans, integrating educational software, and adapting curricular content to accommodate diverse learning styles and capabilities. Beyond academics, you will foster a classroom climate built on mutual respect and positive group interactions, modeling Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to support students' social and emotional development.
