As a Missile Tracking Systems Engineer for the US Space Force Space Development Agency (SDA) Ground, Management and Integration (GMI) program, you will be a key member of an elite, cross-functional team. Your mission is to develop and deploy state-of-the-art ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). You will drive the evolution, expansion, integration, testing, and maintenance of ground entry points, operations centers, and enterprise test capabilities.
In this role, you will decompose complex requirements into architecture and system designs, manage the scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads, and analyze missile tracking data to rapidly disseminate critical information. You will also identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement. This is research-oriented work alongside award-winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation's security.
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required. This position requires a Department of Defense TOP SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance with Polygraph eligibility at the time of hire.
This position offers a flexible work environment with a 9/80 schedule option (every other Friday off), provided the role is based in one of our SDA team locations: Huntsville, Alabama; Scottsdale, Arizona; Grand Forks, North Dakota; or Chantilly, Virginia. While on-site, you will collaborate directly with the SDA team.
