Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. As the world's leading mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise IT provider, we deliver trusted, highly differentiated solutions and technologies to protect our nation and allies. We operate at the critical nexus between traditional and nontraditional threats across all domains: land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace. Our employees solve the most daunting challenges our customers face every day, serving as a valued partner to essential government agencies and supporting every branch of the U.S. armed forces.
As the Space Enterprise Coordinator for a national security program conducting 24/7 Space Warfighting operations, you will serve as a mission and system subject-matter expert (SME). Your primary mission is to synchronize communication, procedural workflows, system integration, and training efforts across operations centers, mission ground stations (MGSs), commercial resources, and partnered agencies.
In this role, you will facilitate the rapid adoption of developing system tools and align network capabilities to maximize a total-enterprise force response to meet rising challenges within the space domain. You will frequently travel to liaise with Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and supporting commercial community staff and leadership to assess mission protection readiness, identify best practices, and pinpoint potential risks. This ensures informed program management and empowers customer decision-makers.
A key part of your day-to-day involves managing training and coordinating participation in cross-organizational exercises from both tactical and operational perspectives. You will maintain deep knowledge of current task orders, space events, systems, mission needs, and programmatic goal timelines, acting as the focal point for the program, customer, and related system development contracts while ensuring strategic plans are implemented as intended.
The application period for this role is estimated to be 30 days from the posting date, though this timeline may be adjusted based on business needs and candidate availability. By applying, you express interest in both the role and the company. During the review process, selected candidates may be required to participate in an on-camera interview and a process to verify their identity.
Please note that this position is contingent upon the award of the relevant contract.
