KBR's National Security Solutions team delivers high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to the intelligence and national security communities. Our mission is to protect the nation's most critical interests, ensuring mission capability on orbit and shaping the future of space reconnaissance. We foster a dynamic, collaborative environment where innovation thrives, and every team member contributes to a supportive, intellectually stimulating workplace.
At KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture. These principles inform all that we do and are at the heart of our commitment to being a "People First" company. We believe in a philosophy where everyone can Belong, Connect, and Grow.
As a Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer, you will work directly with the United States Space Force Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) Test and Evaluation Squadrons at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. Your work will have a profound impact on the country's national security by supporting the acquisition lifecycle and executing complex test and evaluation processes for space systems.
In this role, you will partner with programs to design and execute advanced test and experimentation programs. You will break complex systems into functional elements to determine test objectives, applying scientific and statistical tools to increase test efficiency. Your day-to-day involves analyzing pre-test predictions from modeling and simulation (M&S) and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) to define data collection requirements and develop go/no-go criteria. You will also monitor M&S data, guide test result evaluations, and create presentations of complex data sets to ensure system configurations meet customer specifications and performance expectations.
To join our team, candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for Special Access Programs (SAP). We look for individuals with a strong background in acquisition lifecycle phases, including developmental, operational, and live-fire testing of space systems. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to self-teach new T&E and M&S tools and techniques while understanding the advantages and limitations of various problem-solving methods.
KBR is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, national origin, veteran status, genetic information, union status and/or beliefs, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
