Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssign duties and shifts to associates and observe performance
- check_circleWrite and develop menus and quality standards with the Executive Chef
- check_circlePrepare and cook food according to established standards
- check_circleMonitor food production, ordering, cost, and consistency to achieve budgeted food cost
- check_circleEnsure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures
- check_circleComplete monthly food inventory in coordination with the purchasing department
- check_circleAssist with coordination of catering event details with management and staff
- check_circleEnsure cleanliness of the kitchen, storage rooms, and surrounding areas
- check_circleDirect, train, and mentor kitchen associates
- check_circleMaintain department budget, process payroll, and handle accounting functions
