About the Role
As a Sonography Tech, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services that are integral to our mission. You will work collaboratively with radiologists to produce and analyze images used to diagnose and manage patient health issues. Your day will involve operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment across varied departments, ensuring the accurate diagnosis and ongoing treatment of our patients.
In this role, you will not only focus on technical precision but also on the human element of care. You will explain procedures to patients, preparing them for the experience and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination. You will maintain patient records accurately, adhering to established procedures with strict attention to privacy and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Additionally, you will participate in training and development sessions to stay current with technological advancements and best practices in sonographic imaging.
