About the Role
Join our team at Seton Medical Center-Hays in Kyle, TX, as a PRN Ultrasound Specialist. In this role, you will deliver high-quality diagnostic medical sonography, performing routine and complex procedures to support accurate clinical interpretation and positive patient outcomes. You will provide direct patient care by maneuvering transducers and adjusting equipment to capture precise images of tissue and body structures.
Your day will involve coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the prompt submission of high-quality clinical documentation and images to the EMR and PACS. You will also maintain rigorous safety standards and quality improvement protocols to ensure equipment functionality and compliance within the diagnostic imaging department, while performing comprehensive patient assessments to recognize significant pathology and artifacts.
