As a Per Diem Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures, providing the quality images necessary for accurate interpretation. This position is designed for registered sonographers ready to support the department's mission of delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
In this role, you will set up and adjust equipment, manually maneuver transducers to perform exams, and assist in a variety of imaging procedures. You will be responsible for recognizing significant structures, artifacts, and pathology while ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly. Your work directly impacts patient outcomes by ensuring the prompt submission of high-quality images and accurate documentation to the PACS system. You will also play a key part in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment for both patients and staff.
