Solutions Architects lead complex cloud deployments that drive mission outcomes in production. You will embed with strategic federal civilian customers—where workload performance matters, delivery timelines are critical, and requirements evolve constantly. Your mission is to map technical challenges, structure delivery approaches, and ship solutions fast. This involves scoping, sequencing, and architecting full-stack cloud solutions that create measurable mission value while driving clarity across internal AWS teams and external agency stakeholders.
You will work directly with federal civilian agency leaders as their technical thought partner, guiding cloud adoption, maximizing mission impact, and ensuring successful deployments at scale. Along the way, you'll identify reusable architectural patterns, codify best practices, and share field signal that influences AWS's product and service roadmap.
You will own technical delivery for federal civilian customers adopting AWS—from the first whiteboard session to production at scale. Your day involves designing cloud architectures that solve real mission problems, shipping GenAI and data solutions using the full breadth of AWS, and ensuring every engagement lands with measurable impact. You will lead technical engagements end-to-end, scoping requirements, defining architectures, responding to RFPs, and driving implementations to production. As a thought partner, you will guide customers on security, GenAI, analytics, and modernization, while collaborating with world-class sales and business development teams to accelerate adoption.
