About the Role
We are seeking experienced Class A drivers to join our team as independent 1099 contractors. In this solo OTR position, you will operate Hazmat tankers and tanker trailers, focusing on line haul operations with no driver load or unload duties. The role is designed for drivers who value flexibility and consistent work, offering mostly full truckloads (FTL) with 24/7 dispatch support.
You can expect to average 3,000 to 3,500 miles per week, with pay covering all miles including empty and loaded runs. Our home time policy ensures you stay connected with your family, offering 3 days of home time for every 14 days worked and a guarantee of being home for at least two weekends per month.
Benefits & Perks
Drivers enjoy flexible home time, weekly direct deposits, and access to fuel cards. We offer a comprehensive bonus structure, including a $2,000 sign-up bonus (split), a $500 referral bonus, performance bonuses up to $1,000, a safety bonus up to $500, and a $300 Driver of the Month award. Additionally, we provide paid extra stops ($50) and layovers ($150).
Our passenger and pet policy allows drivers to bring family and pets along on the road. All drivers receive 1099 tax forms for their independent contractor status.
Hiring Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Class A license without restrictions such as Air Brakes (L,Z), Night Driving (G), No Semi Trailer (O), or Intrastate Only (K). You must possess a Tank Vehicles/Hazardous Materials endorsement (X) at the time of hire and have at least 12 months of tractor-trailer experience.
