Amazon LEO is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites designed to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The Manufacturing Systems Engineering (MSE) team is responsible for delivering the software that runs on custom hardware and manages satellite manufacturing operations.
This role is for a Software Development Engineer dedicated to designing and building launch support equipment while supporting LEO manufacturing operations. You will be building low-latency, highly scalable architectures that are critical to delivering high-quality internet service to customers globally.
You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through implementation, testing, and operations. The position involves engaging with an experienced, cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design solutions, working with cross-functional partner teams to lead efforts from requirements to deployment. You will design, integrate, and improve software, including implementing a wide range of low-level software on our hardware.
