JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). As a Software Engineer III, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for the full lifecycle of diverse software, electronic, and mechanical systems. You will independently analyze complex technical problems, formulate engineering requirements, and design detailed implementation plans to meet critical customer needs. This role goes beyond coding; you will lead software development, testing, deployment, and integration while providing technical guidance and mentoring to other engineering team members.
You will collaborate closely with project management, hardware engineering, communications, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration across disciplines. Your work involves designing and deploying solutions that adhere to strict customer specifications, quality standards, and schedule constraints, often within the unique context of air-gapped networks and government security environments.
This position supports a Federal Government Contract, which requires U.S. citizenship. Candidates must be eligible for and able to maintain a Government Security Clearance. The application process involves a review of qualifications against specific technical and citizenship requirements. Successful candidates will be expected to obtain and maintain a CompTIA Security+ certification and a valid Nevada Driver's License.
