The Tech Deploy System Integration team builds software for internal customers, focusing on tools for Tech Deployment teams that leverage innovative technologies and machine learning. Our mission is to reduce the cognitive load on deployment teams while simplifying the advanced technology commissioning process. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming business needs into impactful software solutions. You will collaborate with other experienced and senior engineers to drive improvements to our technology, design and develop new customer-facing products and interfaces, and build metrics to ensure high-quality results. Your solutions will provide the ultimate customer service experience, anticipating and resolving customer questions using our tools.
You will work on complex system software at a global scale, utilizing technologies such as GraphQL, Java, Spring, and AWS. Leading full-stack development, you will address complex challenges in both front-end applications and back-end services, including building essential APIs. You will work in an environment that uses Scrum, test-driven development, and continuous deployment to deliver projects based on realistic timelines and resource constraints.
Your work will involve end-to-end project delivery, including design, coding, testing, and release. You will participate in daily scrums, weekly team meetings, tech discussions, and biweekly sprint planning. The role also includes on-call rotations and occasional team social events, organization visits, lab visits, and site visits.
