The SMT Operator is a vital part of our manufacturing team, responsible for the end-to-end operation of our Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) line. In this role, you will set up and program screen printers, SMT pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens to ensure every assembly project meets our rigorous quality standards. You will be the primary operator for all machinery related to PCB assembly, ensuring smooth production runs from startup to shutdown.
Your day involves a dynamic mix of technical setup and active production monitoring. You will load feeders according to setup sheets, verifying component sizes and pitches, and load programs onto Juki pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to performing machine operator processes, including adjusting conveyor belts, managing production runs, and resolving alarms.
When issues arise, you will make minor machine adjustments, such as correcting part placement or clearing jams, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Accuracy is key; you will thoroughly complete all necessary forms and documentation. Beyond the machine, you will communicate effectively with coworkers, management, vendors, and customer representatives to keep operations flowing. You may also be cross-trained for other functions within SMT Operations and required to commute to different vendor assembly houses as needed.
We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. While prior experience with Juki machines is preferred, we are committed to training motivated individuals who may be new to SMT operations. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to our company's goals, we encourage you to apply.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
