The SME Engineer serves as a critical technical partner to Government personnel, dedicated to meeting the complex technical needs of Test and Evaluation (T&E) projects. This position is contingent upon the award of the underlying contract. As a recognized expert, you will bring a significant portion of your 15+ years of engineering experience to bear on highly complex and critical military or government initiatives.
In this role, you will act as a leading authority in a specific engineering discipline—such as Instrumentation Science and Technology, Explosives Safety, or Ammunition T&E. Your expertise will be instrumental in addressing the most challenging technical issues, influencing strategic decision-making, and driving innovation within the organization. You will collaborate closely with Government stakeholders, other contractors, and engineering teams to solve intricate T&E problems.
Work is typically performed in a controlled office environment with a moderate noise level. The role requires U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain one). As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
