About the Role
We are seeking a Cybersecurity professional to join our SkillBridge Internship Program. This unique opportunity is designed specifically for transitioning service members to gain hands-on civilian experience supporting the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of cybersecurity controls.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between military service and civilian industry by ensuring compliance with federal and industry standards such as NIST, FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CMMC. You will work within a collaborative team to develop and maintain critical security artifacts, manage security tools, and support authorization processes. This internship offers valuable civilian work experience, training, and networking opportunities to support your transition into the civilian workforce.
Compensation & Benefits
During the SkillBridge internship, service members continue to receive their regular military pay and benefits through their branch of service. While the host company does not provide additional pay, participants gain invaluable industry exposure and professional development.
Location & Work Model
This position operates on a hybrid schedule, with 50% of the work week spent at our Newport News, VA location.
