About the Role
As a Senior Cyber Specialist Digital Enablement (Security Advisor), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that product technologies leveraged by healthcare providers and consumers are secure-by-design. This position focuses on medical devices, IoT and sensor-based products, mobile applications, and backend systems. You will serve as an expert-driven, guidance-focused consultant rather than a hands-on developer or operations specialist.
In this capacity, you will partner closely with internal product owners, developers, engineers, and security architects to evaluate solutions, strengthen governance, and guide secure product development. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of scalable, compliant, and secure product technologies, cloud services, and connected applications. You will evaluate the cybersecurity posture of new and existing products, identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure timely remediation. The role requires the ability to clearly articulate complex cyber risks and recommended mitigations to diverse audiences, navigating a large, global environment with sound decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and maintain security guidance documentation, including standards and frameworks
- check_circleConduct full-stack architecture reviews of products and platforms, including consumer identity platforms
- check_circlePerform cybersecurity threat modeling and prepare outputs for review by internal and external stakeholders
- check_circleCollaborate with product designers and developers to ensure security considerations are integrated early into product design
- check_circleValidate the security of product software supply chains and product deployment pipelines
- check_circleAssess and prioritize product security risks through detailed evaluation of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing results
- check_circleTrack and ensure product compliance with defined vulnerability remediation SLAs
- check_circleEstablish, document, and monitor compliance with risk-based and regulatory-informed cybersecurity requirements
Requirements
- verifiedAt least 5 years (typically 7+) years of experience in cybersecurity or technology architecture
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Software Engineering, or related field (waivable with strong experience)
- verifiedCISSP certification (or similar) preferred
- verifiedW2 candidates only
- verifiedKnowledge of ISO 27001/2, SOC 2, HITRUST, FedRAMP, ISO 22301, NIST, SOX, BASEL II, EU DPD, HIPAA, PCI DSS

Nice to Have
Cybersecurity experience across e-commerce, mobile apps, IoT, or medical devices. Certifications such as CISSP, HCISPP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA Foundation, or CISA. Background in application security, product security, and secure development practices. Experience supporting mobile applications, sensors, and backend operational systems. Ability to draft, influence, and operationalize cybersecurity policies and standards. Medical device industry experience.
