About the Role

Leidos is seeking a Site Activation Lead to drive the Site Deployment Team in support of the FAA NextGen Air Traffic Control programs, specifically the En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM). This role exists to ensure the seamless deployment, certification, and maintenance of critical air traffic systems across the National Airspace System.

As the lead, you will serve as the primary bridge between Leidos and FAA personnel, coordinating all activities, communication, and planning efforts. Your day will involve providing daily status updates on schedules, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance while maintaining on-site schedules from General Acceptance through the conclusion of contractor maintenance responsibilities. You will work directly with Technical Operations personnel to deploy and certify the ERAM technical refresh system, perform software installations and firmware upgrades, and manage site equipment maintenance in accordance with approved technical manuals. Beyond technical execution, you will provide expertise in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and equipment relocation, ensuring the integrity and performance of the air traffic control infrastructure.
