About the Role
As a Shift Manager, you will be the driving force behind daily store operations and the embodiment of our "World Class Service." You will partner with the management team to ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and welcoming. Your day will be filled with "speaking Pet"—understanding the specific needs of everything from Polly the Parrot to Peanut Butter the Rottweiler—and guiding customers through their shopping journey with expertise and empathy.
You will act as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store and Assistant Manager, driving daily sales goals and ensuring the team stays motivated and aligned with our brand standards. From supporting inventory management and fish systems to partnering with local rescue agencies for community events, you will play a vital role in making a difference in our community. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will help new hires, celebrate team accomplishments, and ensure a safe, positive environment for both employees and animals.
