About the Role

As a Shift Leader, your mission is to reinforce the Border Foods CORE values: Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment. The purpose of the Shift Leader is to make the lives of employees and guests better by creating opportunities to positively impact life experiences. You will be responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience. This role involves guiding team members to complete assigned duties, scheduling and deploying the team correctly, and ensuring a quality customer experience through fast and friendly service.

You will also act as a strategic planner, creating short-term and long-term strategies for restaurant success while delivering profit by utilizing and interpreting the P&L. A key part of your day involves sourcing, hiring, and developing excellent team members, conducting new hire orientation, and providing learning and development opportunities through active and timely coaching.
