This position serves as a critical operational hub within the College's Public Safety division. As a key support to the Assistant Director of Public Safety, you will provide general oversight of the Dispatch Center's daily activities, ensuring seamless communication and administrative support for the entire campus community.
In this role, you will act as a lead worker, offering daily direction and training to Dispatch Center personnel. Your work ensures that public safety communications are handled with precision and integrity, while also managing the technical infrastructure that supports these vital operations. You will be responsible for monitoring call center personnel to maintain quality assurance and compliance with state requirements, while also troubleshooting complex dispatch technologies such as CCTV systems, ARMS dispatch software, and emergency alert communication systems.
