About the Role

The Shift Leader is the heartbeat of the restaurant during their shift, leading and behaving according to Potbelly values. This role exists to ensure outstanding product quality and customer service while building sales and controlling costs. You will manage and develop associates to execute these goals, creating a welcoming atmosphere where customers are delighted by great food and good vibes.\n In this position, you will lead team members by efficiently assigning tasks and providing feedback. You will be responsible for ensuring security procedures and back-of-the-house standards are met, handling cash operations, and preparing quality finished products. The role requires navigating a dynamic environment with high noise levels, managing potential allergens, and handling kitchen heat. It is a leadership opportunity for those who enjoy problem-solving and working collaboratively to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operation.
