About the Role

The Shift Lead position is designed to support the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff in guiding the team to maximize productivity and profitability. This role is unique in that it combines the duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant with leadership responsibilities. You will step in to assist leadership when needed, ensuring effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

In this role, you will take great enjoyment in developing an efficient, productive team that delivers exceptional care. Your day-to-day responsibilities include supervising the team to ensure quality medical care, fostering an engaging environment where associates feel proud to be part of the team, and leading by example in providing professional client service. You will help create a culture that embraces Banfield protocols, focusing the team on practice priorities while building our brand. Additionally, you will assist in scheduling associates to meet client needs and ensure compliance with all practice policies and grooming guidelines.
