About the Role

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be the hands-on expert responsible for shaping and altering sheet metal to meet precise customer specifications. Operating a variety of fabrication machinery—including saws, shears, CNC turret punches, routers, press brakes, and lasers—you will transform raw materials into finished components. Your day involves interpreting blueprints and work orders to determine cutting lines and tolerances, performing precise setups, and conducting rigorous quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.

This role is critical to our manufacturing operations, ensuring that every part meets strict aerospace and industrial standards. Whether you are a Level I operator learning the trade or a Level II specialist providing training and handling complex setups, your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols directly impact the quality of our final products.

Working Environment

You will work in a dynamic manufacturing shop environment where conditions can vary significantly. The role requires regular standing, walking, and the ability to lift, carry, or push/pull up to 75 pounds. You will be exposed to typical industrial elements such as excessive noise, dust, smoke, and fumes, making the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including hearing protection, eye and hand protection, and safety footwear—mandatory.

This position is classified as safety-sensitive. To ensure compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected person). Regular on-site attendance is required to maintain the workflow and safety standards of the facility.
