About the Role
Shambaugh & Son is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work with our nationally recognized Design-Build team. In this role, you will assist with the assembly of designs, estimates, and the ultimate construction of food manufacturing facilities and stand-alone industrial refrigeration projects constructed across the United States. This position offers a pathway for qualified candidates to be considered for a Program Management position, acting as a team lead and primary customer contact for projects.

- check_circleAssist project management staff in obtaining local planning and regulatory approvals for electrical scopes
- check_circleProvide technical advice to Design-Build team members on electrical engineering matters
- check_circleMonitor and inspect work undertaken by subcontractors and internal trades to ensure quality compliance
- check_circleDevelop and procure electrical design plans, specifications, and narratives during conceptual and final design phases
- check_circleComplete conceptual and detailed take-offs for electrical scopes to support project budgeting and Guaranteed Maximum Price
- check_circleAssist management with identification, pre-qualification, and bidding of electrical scopes of work
Requirements
- verifiedDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree/experience
- verified5+ years of work experience in electrical design
- verifiedExperience in the design and construction of industrial, food manufacturing and/or cold box facilities
- verifiedProfessional Engineer license in Indiana or Idaho (not required)
